One would think with a moniker of "Big Daddy" that person would be an extrovert. But, they would be wrong, I am very reserved in my persona, especially when it comes to first interactions. But I have a deep passion for creating great images (often to my own detriment of not being too crazy about some of my own work at times).

I began my journey with photography because of a desire to capture images of people and interact more with them looking to capture the personality of the subject.

I explored many genres over my career and have always come back to people oriented work. In the early 2000's I became very fascinated with the look and attitude of pinup photos and decided to begin doing some of this work with influences like Bunny Yeager and Irving Klaw photos of Bettie Page as well as a deeper fascination in classic images of the 1940's Hollywood style.

I work exclusively on projects that I personally care about and want to create with the models I work with.
I try and respond to all requests and proposals sent to me in a reasonable time period. I do not travel for work but if visiting an area, I try and ensure that my social media reflects my shooting schedule. I will travel within my local area in the South for the right project.
